    Description

    The coffee

Let yourself be captivated by the peculiar and fruity flavors so characteristic of this variety, with hints of pineapple, peach, strawberry and grape. Unmistakable fragrance and aroma of cocoa, coffee flower and cherry. Prepared in a filter will not leave you indifferent; although due to its character in the cup it adapts to any preparation method.

    The process

Fermentation process of 120 hours, 40 anaerobic, 60 aerobic in tank and 20 more hours in basket.

    The producer

Jhon Edison Vélez Hoyos is the man who runs Finca Las Acacias in Guatica, Risaralda, a small department in Colombia just off the Antioquia region.

John is a young farmer who lives on the farm and works alongside his father. Both are in charge of planting and harvesting the coffee, but John is more focused on the post-harvest fermentation and drying process.

    The farm

Finca Las Acacias has 5 permanent employees and 10 temporary workers during the harvest. The farm was purchased 6 years ago but after that it went through several important changes. John expanded and modernized the farm by adding and building the facilities required for post-harvest coffee processes.
