    It was at WOC Milan 2022 when we tasted Wbeimar Lasso’s coffees for the first time, none left us indifferent and we want to share that feeling with you with this microlot.

    The Producer
    Weimar Lasso was born in a coffee-growing family in San Adolfo. At a young age, he left the city to work on some of the best horse breeding farms in Colombia. Years later, after discovering his family was experiencing financial difficulty, he decided to move back to San Adolfo and help the family’s coffee business at El Mirador farm.

    The Coffee
    This coffee was grown by Weimar Lasso at the farm Las Terrazas. This coffee is harvested following strict ripeness criteria, floated and hand-sorted to remove any defects. Cherries were then exposed to 30 hours of underwater fermentation before being depulped. The parchment was then gently washed and then dried in temperature controlled conditions until ideal moisture content was achieved.

    This micro-lot is 100% Tabi. This is a new variety developed by “National Federation of Coffee Growers”. This unique variety is a cross between the Timor Hybrid, Bourbon and Typica.
